Starwalk Ipoh 2012

After 2 weeks past like a wind, here is the another post of the post. This post is about an event that I will attend once a year. The Starwalk Ipoh 2012 organized by a newspaper company The Star and it is a walk event.

On the 17th of June, Starwalk was held again in Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh. Same like the previous years, I attended the event with my younger brother, Hudson Beh. We reached at stadium around 6.20am and waited the run starts at 7.30am. Before that, we registered ourselves in stadium and took our lucky draw numbers for the lucky draw contest later.

This year, there were many participants participated this event compare previous years. Although there were many participants, but I managed to meet up my friends to join them for the walk. They were Nicholas Chong and Edward Lee.

From the starting until the end, we walked together but half way through, me and Nicholas leave behind Edward. This is because we jogged during the half way to catch up the time to get the certificate. To get the certificate, we need to complete the walk in 100 minutes so, we jogged and run. Since we are not in competition category, we can jog or run in the walk. Along the way, we met with our old pal, Ong Yuchuan and his gang from Kampar.

After we ended our walk in about an hour, finally we reached the stadium. I separated with my friends because I entered into the stadium to watch performances and wait for the lucky draw contest. About the performances, there were Latin dances, Hip-Hop dances, gymnastics performances, singing and changing face ( 变面 ) performances.

Waited for about 2 hours during the lucky draw contest, I went back home with an empty hand because the luck was not at my side. I have to say goodbye to Iphones, Samsung Galaxy smartphones, Canon cameras and the five scooters.

After ended the event, my brother and I went for lunch and back home. Later, around 3pm, I went back to Kampar because Monday got lectures class to attend. After taking a nap in the evening, my legs muscles started to pain maybe because long time didn't exercise. Pity me, I still need to cycle in Kampar.

That all for today.
Mid-term is near, updates will be less this coming weeks.
Stay tuned for further updates.

Euro Fun Park

After a week plus, I'm back blogging again. As the title above, this post is about Euro Fun Park. A fun park with many exciting games in it that are suitable for all ages. They are touring around the world.

On the 9th of June, I attended to Euro Fun Park with my buddies around 10pm. Before that, we met at Starbucks, Aeon Station 18. We had our drinks there then off to Euro Fun Park.

Entrance fees RM 4 per adult and RM 2 per child. In there, I played 2 games only and a ride. The Challengers, X Coaster and Euro Wheel. The Challengers, first time in my life played so exciting game. Actually, I can't play so exciting game because I not use to it. X Coaster was ok and Euro Wheel was just a normal ferry wheel.

There are still many exciting games but I didn't play. My buddies played it. The Top Gun, spinning 360 degree that I really can't play it. Beside that, my buddy, Nike Phang wanted to play The Vortex but too bad no one dare to accompany him because the game is too exciting...

I had used RM 30 for the 3 games include the entrance fees. We ended our day with a final ride on The Euro Wheel. It was just a short gathering with some buddies. It was a happy moment too to have a visit to Euro Fun Park because it going to off soon in Ipoh to another places.

Buddies and friends that attended:
Christopher Chow
Lee Haw Tung and his younger brother, Lee Haw Jin
Alson Beh (me)
Ivan Tan and Hui Ling
Nike Phang
Vincent Tang
Bowie Lai
Kar Ming *met him with his another gang in Euro Fun Park*

My New Chapter of Life in Kampar

The month of June with a new post of the month. This post is about my new chapter of life. Since I'm 5 years old staying in Ipoh, after 15 years, I have to move out from Ipoh to Kampar myself for my studies.

Kampar, my new staying town starting from now. I move here because of my studies. Now, I further my degree studies in University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Perak Campus,Kampar. Here is a cycling city. I came down here from 22nd of May to attend the orientation week to meet up some new friends here. Every weekends, I will be back to Ipoh if there is no any events or examination.

UTAR is a good place and environment for study because here have beautiful lakes and many green trees with plants everywhere. In Kampar, I think here don't have any entertainment at all. So, I can fully concentrate on my studies with zero disturbance. Here have cyber cafe but I won't go because I don't play online games at all. Sometimes, human also need so rest and relax time. Drinking sessions with friends for sure will. Other than that, nothing much to do here besides the above.

Back to the orientation week, I skipped of the orientation because some of it was not important. Maybe because of it, I meet no one or new friends there expect my buddies, Kar Ming and Haw Tung for the orientation week.

The first week of studies in UTAR, I attended lectures and tutorials according the nice arranged time table. During lectures, still didn't meet any friends but when come to tutorials, I met some new friends because we formed a group for our assignments. My new friends mostly from Johor and Sabah. Maybe because we were still new here, the 1st week, there were no studies but just introduction of every courses for us...

Next week, the second week, lectures and tutors will start their class. Here I hope I can cope it and enjoy my university life. As the president of UTAR said, although we got the freedom here but the freedom come along with responsibility.

That all for today.
Update will post it soon.
Stay tuned for it.
